Just thought this was cute...
I was watching Aiden play in the kitchen and it was just really cute. Towards the end he exhibits what happens at the end of the day; everything makes him cry!

Command Clapping
It is always interesting when you realize your child is actually a little person and understands what you are saying! He most certainly understands...he only listens when he feels like it.
Hiking and Father's Day
We all went for a nice hike in the Malibu hills on Saturday. The hike took us out to the old filming site for the TV show M.A.S.H. Matthew carried Aiden in his backpack carrier for the first time. Aiden really seemed to like the scenery and all of the sticks he got to play with.
For Father's Day we went to the beach and built sand castles! It was a beautiful day; the sun finally came out! There are new photos posted of both days.

It took a little while, but...
we finally have the photos up from our trip to North Carolina and Tennessee. We all had a great time visiting and can't wait to see everyone again. The photos are now listed on the left-hand side of this page. To see older posts you can either follow the link at the bottom of each page, or use the archive list on the left under the photo links.

Talking up a storm
Aiden has been really into hearing his own voice recently...and he may even be saying Dada in this video!
I'm walking, yes indeed...
Well, the big day has finally arrived! Aiden has decided his knees are tired of dragging on the ground. He is walking! It has only been two days since he started, but already he is walking quite a bit more. I'm sure we are in for some serious trouble!

9 Month Stats
We went to the doctor last week and here are the current stats:
Height: 27.75 inches, 30%
Weight: 20 lbs 3 oz 50%
Aiden did have to get his blood drawn for a standard lead test...he was not a fan! They took it from his arm, which meant I had to hold him still while they searched for a vein and then withdrew. Whewwwww...what a task! The doctor says all is well and Aiden is doing great.
Only in the country!
Papaw gave Aiden his first real taste of country living...going for a ride through the Cove in the tractor. The only thing that could have made it truly complete was shootin' at a rattlesnake.
Bucky Boy
While visiting my parents, Aiden got quite a kick out of Bucky. Glad I didn't trash him too much as a child!

Mother's Day
(05.09.2009) Aiden and Matthew surprised me a day early with a picnic in the park! It was really nice and we all enjoyed eating the delicious food we picked out. Aiden did not have such a good time when we put his hat and glasses on him!
Donkey Kong
(05.02.2009) We found this bouncy donkey in Santa Monica and Aiden really enjoyed playing on it. We would have bought it...but the Sweedish company wanted $50 for it!
